Terms of Service

1. Who we are

ADVESTOR ("we", "us") provides online property deal calculators for UK property professionals. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details, keep your password secure and not share your login. You are responsible for everything done through your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Plans and payment

• The stamp duty (SDLT / LBTT / LTT) and buy-to-let calculators are free forever for any signed-in user.
• Every other calculator needs an active plan: £5 per month, or a £97 one-off payment for lifetime access.
• Monthly plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Account > Manage billing; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• "Lifetime" means for as long as we continue to operate the ADVESTOR service. It does not create a perpetual obligation to run the service.
• Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Prices are in GBP. No VAT is added at checkout; the price shown is the price you pay.
• If a payment fails we may retry it and, if it keeps failing, suspend paid access.

4. Not financial advice

Every figure ADVESTOR produces is an estimate based on the inputs you enter, including tax figures, mortgage costs, yields and projections. It is not financial, tax, mortgage, legal or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or a lender's own assessment. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make. Tax rules and rates change; always confirm current figures with HMRC, Revenue Scotland, the Welsh Revenue Authority or your accountant.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to break, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service, don't use it unlawfully, and don't try to access other users' data.

6. Your content

The deals you save remain yours. You grant us the limited right to store and process them so we can provide the service. You can delete your deals, or your whole account, at any time from Settings.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms — material changes will be notified in the app or by email.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses arising from decisions you make using our calculators. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using ADVESTOR and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
