This policy explains what personal data ADVESTOR collects and how we use it. We are the data controller for that data under UK GDPR.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address and optional company name.
• Deal data — the property figures and deal analyses you choose to save.
• Billing data — your plan status, renewal dates and a Stripe customer reference. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, never by us.
• Technical data — basic logs needed to keep the service secure and working.

Why we use it

• To provide your account, calculators and saved deals (performance of our contract).
• To take payment and manage subscriptions (performance of our contract).
• To keep the service secure and to comply with legal duties (legitimate interests).
• To send service and billing emails. We only send marketing email if you have opted in.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your deal data for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing and billing management.
• Our hosting and database providers — to run the app and store your data.
• Email delivery — for account emails such as confirmation and password resets.

These providers act on our instructions under contract. Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards such as UK-approved transfer terms apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and deal data while your account is open. If you delete your account we remove your profile and saved deals. Records we must keep for accounting and tax purposes are retained for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, restrict, object to or delete your personal data. You can update your details and delete your account directly in Settings. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
